Dr. Fatima Chehouri-Nasser, PPOTD, MOTR/L American Board-Certified Occupational Therapist with a Post Professional Clinical Doctorate in Occupational Therapy Leadership from Philadelphia/Jefferson University, USA. Dr. Chehouri-Nasser received extensive training at Johns Hopkins University Hospital followed by a full time senior position at the facility and held numerous faculty posts nationally and internationally.Dr. Chehouri-Nasser is the director and owner of a private practice in Beirut-Lebanon that provides clinical evaluations and interventions in various specialty areas including traumatic brain injury, learning disabilities, and other neurological disorders. Her work also involves collaborating with local and international NGOs for conducting workshops and professional development seminars within the realm of occupational therapy and public health. Her expertise is in the area of cognitive rehabilitation with emphasis on the psychosocial model of occupational participation.Dr. Chehouri-Nasser is the President of the Lebanese Occupational Therapists Syndicate, long-standing member of the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) and active member of World Federation of Occupational Therapists (WFOT). She has participated in numerous research projects for WFOT and WHO Global Clinical Practice Network.
