Dr. Joseph EL MIR is a senior respiratory physical therapist with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Saint Joseph University of Beirut, Lebanon.He currently holds the position of Head of Respiratory Care Unit Home Care Unit at SESOBEL. He also runs his own clinic, the Respiratory Care Clinic, where he provides specialized care treatment.With over 25 years of experience in the field, Dr. Joseph EL MIR specializes in respiratory physiotherapy. His work focuses on improving respiratory function and quality of life for children and adults, especially those with neurological or neuromuscular conditions. Dr. Joseph EL MIR is a certified trainer for the Motor Function Measure scale. He serves as the curator of the Lebanese Neuromuscular Disease Registry. Additionally, he is the General Secretary of the Lebanese Association for Neuromuscular Disease (LAND for Hope) and has contributed significantly as the translator of the educational booklet for parents with children who have neuromuscular diseases.Dr. Joseph EL MIR regularly presents at national and international conferences, sharing his expertise in innovative respiratory physiotherapy techniques. His commitment to education extends to his role as a lecturer at Saint Joseph University of Beirut and various universities in MENA region.
