As part of our Business Conference course, USJ Business School welcomed Dr. Christelle Kassargy for a timely conversation on:

“The Role of Municipalities in Lebanon in Addressing the Country’s Economic, Social and Environmental Challenges.”

From local governance and economic development to social responsibility, sustainability and innovation, students explored how municipalities can respond to today’s challenges and what needs to change for them to play a stronger role in Lebanon’s future.

Through real case studies and practical perspectives, the conversation brought local challenges into the classroom and opened the floor to questions, ideas and new ways of thinking.
