This is Zulfiqar Naser Al Deen, 27 years old Petroleum & Gas Engineer & Lecturer. At the American University of Beirut, I did my BSc. in Petroleum Geology with specialization in Geophysics, Sedimentology Stratigraphy. From the beginning, I had a keen desire and passion for learning about the various aspects of the petroleum field, starting from the location of reservoirs, their dimensions and the newest techniques used for drilling, then moving to in depth learning of geological mapping, geological logging, and seismic profile analysis. For my Msc. Degree, I received the Bright Student Award Scholarship to complete my master’s degree in Petroleum & Gas engineering in Teesside University, United Kingdom. This program gave me the opportunity to specialize in Hydrocarbon Exploration and Production Engineering, along with a great knowledge in Reservoir Engineering, Petroleum Chemistry and Economics, and the necessary training in sustainability, quality, health, safety, and environment.
