Le Dr Ryan Harouny est titulaire d’un doctorat d’exercice en chirurgie bucco-dentaire obtenu en 2019 à l’Université Saint-Joseph de Beyrouth (USJ). En 2022, il y a également complété un double master en dentisterie esthétique et prothétique ainsi qu’en biomatériaux. Parallèlement à sa pratique en cabinet privé, il est, depuis 2021, enseignant chargé de cours à la Faculté de Médecine Dentaire (FMD) de l’USJ, au sein du Département de Dentisterie Restauratrice et Esthétique, et occupe également la fonction de chercheur associé au Laboratoire de Recherche Craniofaciale (LRCF) de l’USJ. En 2024, il a reçu le prix Gérard Tabourian de l’International College of Dentists pour ses travaux de recherche universitaire. Il a, par ailleurs, publié de nombreux articles dans des revues scientifiques internationales. Domaines d’expertise: dentisterie esthétique, résines composites, dentisterie adhésive, biomatériaux dentaires. Thématiques de recherche explorées: dentisterie restauratrice, résines composites, céramiques dentaires, aligneurs, PEEK et biomatériaux dentaires.
