Dr. Mohammad Bassam Sukariyah is a professor of Educational Psychology and Counseling Psychology with more than three decades of academic, research, and administrative experience in Lebanon and abroad. His scholarship spans educational psychology, learning and development, assessment, counseling, and quantitative research methodologies. He has served in key academic leadership roles at the Lebanese University and has collaborated extensively with UNESCO, UNDP/RBAS, and TLQAA on quality assurance and higher-education reform initiatives. Dr. Sukariyah has taught and supervised students at the undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral levels at institutions including the Lebanese University, Saint Joseph University, Lebanese International University, American University of Beirut, Lebanese American University, and the University of Northern Iowa. His research is published in regional and international peer-reviewed journals, addressing adolescent development, motivation, body image, social comparison, binge eating, and structural equation modeling.
