Maha H. DAOU is an associate professor at the faculty
of dental medicine, Tours University, France and at Saint Joseph University
(FMD-USJ) of Beirut, Beirut, Lebanon.
She holds a Doctor of Dental
Surgery degree (DDS) from FMD-USJ. She also has a graduate Certificate – A
(CES – A) in Technology of Dental Materials, from Paris VII University, France,
and a graduate Certificate – B (CES – B) in Pedodontics – Prevention, from
Paris VII University, France.
She
obtained an Advanced Studies Diploma (DEA), from FMD-USJ, and
she completed her Ph.D. from USJ, and ULB (Université Libre de Bruxelles),
Belgium.
Her
current research interests focus on direct restorative materials and techniques
in pediatric dentistry.
She is an active participant of scientific and educational seminars. She
is member of the International Association for Dental Research (IADR), member
of the Lebanese Association for Dental Research (LADR), member of the
academy of dental materials, member of the Société francophone de biomatériaux
dentaires (SFBD – French-Speaking Society of Dental Biomaterials) member of the
Lebanese Dental Association (LDA), member of the Lebanese society of Pediatric
Dentistry (LSPD), Former Executive Member (2014-2018) of the Société
francophone de biomatériaux dentaires (SFBD), and member of the Société de
Médecine dentaire, Belgium, and the Belgium academy of pediatric
dentistry. She delivers conferences at national and international dental
congresses. She is an author and co-author of scientific publications in
international Journals.
