The histology laboratory of the Faculty of Medicine occupies a central place in the teaching of the disciplines of histology and anatomic pathology. It provides students of the campus of medical sciences with a hands-on learning environment, allowing them to become familiar with microscopic observation techniques of biological tissues and cells. Equipped with individual microscopes allowing each student to examine in detail the different cellular and tissue structures and a performant slide scanner, which facilitates the digitization of samples for digital microscopy. This innovative technology makes it possible to study slides remotely, share images for collaborative work, and enrich educational sessions with in-depth analyses. Thus, the laboratory fully contributes to the training of students, by helping them develop technical and analytical skills essential to understanding pathological processes.
