USJ is open to all social classes and wants each student to be able to pursue their education in the best possible conditions. In order to allow the largest number of students to enroll, the university is implementing a financial aid policy that takes into account several criteria: social, excellence, merit, sports and others.
Due to the ongoing economic crisis that has worsened over the past few years and the growing number of students who are unable to cover their tuition fees, Prof. Salim Daccache, SJ, Rector of USJ, with the agreement of the University Board, has decided to strengthen social assistance programs. The budget allocated for this support has been increased to $28 million (USD) for 2024/25, accounting for 30% of the University’s overall budget.
USJ, Fondation USJ, the Federation of USJ Alumni Associations, and other donors are working hand in hand to sustain this exceptional financial aid program.
