Incoming mobility - Procedures and deadlines
The Mobility Unit at the International relations Office is the main contact point for international students who wish to study at USJ for a mobility of one or two semesters.
Steps
- Check our academic offer and academic calendar
- Send the incoming mobility form filled and signed, along with all required documents (motivation letter, copy of passport, transcript of grades and photo) in one PDF file to sri.mobilite@usj.edu.lb
Deadline
- May 15 for the 1st semester and/or academic year
- October 15 for the 2nd semester
IMPORTANT NOTES:
- The learning agreement will only be finalized upon arrival, depending on availability of courses, schedules and with the approval of the academic supervisors of both home and host institution.
- An acceptance letter will be sent to the student after reception of the complete application and upon approval of the host faculty at USJ.
- The payment of the USJ insurance is mandatory prior to academic registration.
- Unless otherwise specified in the bilateral agreement, incoming students can follow courses in different faculties but the majority of their courses should be related to one main faculty.
- The main teaching language at USJ is French. Some courses are taught in Arabic or English depending on the field of study.
- Students will be responsible for all costs related to their mobility in Lebanon (accommodation, insurance, visa, residency, etc.)
- Unless otherwise indicated in the bilateral agreement, mobility students do not pay any tuition fees at USJ.
- In the case of Free Mover mobility, the student will have to pay tuition fees at USJ.
- At the end of their stay, incoming students will get a transcript of records. No degree will be delivered by USJ to international exchange students (except in the case of a double degree agreement).
