Research Board

Created in June 1995, the Research Board of the Saint Joseph University of Beirut is made up of the Rector, the Vice-rector for research, the Vice-rector for administration, the Vice-rector for academic affairs, Secretary General of the University, coordinators of scientific research commissions (CSR) on campus and delegates designated by the Board of their own institution. It is chaired by the Rector and holds at least two meetings during the year. It decides on the priority to be given to research projects and votes on the budget to be granted. The five representatives of the rectorate and the four coordinators of the scientific research committees sit on the Council for the final decisions relating to the admission of projects.
