WELCOME TO THE HUMAN RESOURCES PAGE
The Human Resources Office centralizes and manages the administrative files of the University’s administrative and laboratory staff, as well as faculty members. It ensures the proper application of their respective bylaws and the regulations in force.
The Office, in collaboration with the Rector and the relevant Vice-Rectors, oversees the administrative aspects of instructor matters, including:
- Recruitment and contracts
- Review of evaluations for renewal and promotion
- Payroll management
The Human Resources Office also develops programs and action plans for the Administrative Staff (PSG) to help advance the University’s strategic objectives. It defines clear performance indicators to measure the success of these initiatives and programs, and monitors their progress over time.
The Office contributes to optimizing structures and the effective organization and use of human resources (PSG positions, individuals, projects, etc.). It recommends recruitment based on evolving competency needs, with particular attention to attracting high-potential candidates and welcoming individuals who are committed to serving the common good and to the University’s educational and social mission.
The Office oversees competency and performance evaluations, identifies performance indicators, and proposes training initiatives that respond to both individual development goals and organizational needs.
It also supports heads and directors in implementing initiatives related to identifying, monitoring, and recognizing talent.
It ensures compliance with University policies and regulations (confidentiality, child protection, inclusion, harassment, diversity, respect, etc.).
Finally, it remains attentive to the social situations that staff members may encounter and works to provide appropriate support and guidance when needed.
