Student Clubs
Pursuant to the decision of the University Board at its 196th meeting held on June 20, 2018, the statutes regulating Student Clubs have been amended as follows:
Only Student Clubs that have received approval from the Executive Board are authorized to use this designation within the University. Clubs operating without such approval are considered unauthorized.
Requests to establish a Student Club must be submitted by at least twenty (20) students of the University. The request should ensure representation from all campuses and regional university centers, except for professional Clubs, which typically concern a single institution.
Each Student Club must designate a mentor from the University’s tenured instructors. The mentor must be listed in the Club creation request and receive approval from the Executive Board.
