This course is a systematic presentation of the basic methods used in the collection and processing of numerical information. Descriptive statistics techniques thus cover a range of methods, statistical sources and practical applications. The concepts used are presented with rigor and, whenever necessary, use mathematical formalization. The practical exercises are carried out using Python and Excel softwares.
