This course develops Competency A “Analyzing the economic situation of a country and the international economic situation.” It enables the identification of inflation and unemployment and develops in students the ability to analyze and address these issues through the selection of different economic policies based on the current economic situation and context, such as fiscal and monetary policies. This course covers the different schools of thought – Keynesian, classical, the current of synthesis, expectations – in order to identify structural trends.
