Fouad is the Co-Founder and Managing Director of KCG Inc., a Risk Management and Anti-Financial Crimes Consultancy Firm, and the Group Chief Compliance Officer of one of the Top 3 banking groups in Lebanon, FRANSABANK Group, having regional and international presence, as he is currently member of the Compliance Committee of the Association of Banks in Lebanon. Before establishing KCG and steering the Compliance Function at FRANSABANK, he handled the Risk Management activity for more than 11 years as Chief Risk Officer of Ahli International Bank (a Jordanian banking group) and of Bank of Beirut (another Top 10 banking group in Lebanon). Fouad was also Professor of Risk Management (Faculty of Economics) for 12 years in Saint Joseph University (USJ), one of the major Universities in Lebanon. He started his career with the Central Bank of Lebanon (at the Banking Control Commission) as Examiner and went on to become Senior Examiner in charge of Auditing more than 15 Lebanese banks and assuring their Compliance with set Rules and Regulations, before he joined the Private Sector 7 years later. Fouad holds a Bachelor’s Degree and a Master’s Degree in Economics from University of Paris 1 (Panthéon – Sorbonne) in Paris, and an MBA in Management from Holy Spirit University Kaslik (USEK) in Beirut.
