The department of Classics and Ancient Mediterranean Studies CAMS of Penn State University will hold its first lecture of the year. Brien Garnand (NINO) will give a talk entitled "Rites of Transition and Ethnic Identity in Carthage: Childhood, Motherhood, and Votive Offerings in the Tophet Precinct."
