Applied Practice in early childhood

This course unit provides students with a deeper understanding of educational and pedagogical practices within daycare centers and across early childhood education systems in Lebanon. It aims to refine students’ observational and analytical skills in order to better understand the role and involvement of the psychomotor therapist within early childhood stimulation settings. The course seeks to raise students’ awareness of the psychomotor therapist’s role in daycare contexts through the observation of typical psychomotor development and the identification of early warning signs in young children, as well as through the design of activities that support this development. It also encourages students to integrate their theoretical knowledge with observations derived from their practical training during internships.
