Assessment of Teaching
The assessment of courses by students is imperative at Saint Joseph University of Beirut and can be done digitally, based on a Common Grid. Institutions may add specific elements to it.
At the end of each semester, instructors consult assessment results through the USJ Instructor/Staff portal. The head of the institution may meet with certain instructors to implement the necessary improvements. This evaluation serves as an initial component for program review.
An annual global report on the evaluation results is prepared by CCAD. At the Central Administration level, an analysis is conducted by the Academic Commission to identify strengths and weaknesses, and propose the necessary improvements.
