The Laboratory of Speech and Language Therapy Research (LRO) is a research unit developed in synergy with ISO. Its mission is to:

 

• Structure and promote existing research activities while fostering the development of new ones.

• Encourage scientific publications.

• Create synergies with other disciplines related to speech and language therapy.

• Enhance the supervision of Master’s theses and facilitate the admission of PhD candidates.

• Strengthen ISO’s academic appeal at both the national and regional levels, positioning it as a leading research institution in the region.

• Maintain and expand international collaborations.

• Place research at the service of clinical practice and public health policies.
