This course focuses on specific learning disorders that affect basic academic skills such as reading, writing, and arithmetic, encompassing dyslexia, dysorthography, dyscalculia, ADHD, DCD, memory disorders, and executive function disorders. Children with specific learning disorders exhibit psychomotor peculiarities. Literature indicates a comorbidity between psychomotor disorders and learning disorders. Therefore, this course aims to analyze a clinical situation in psychomotor therapy related to learning disorders to develop a psychomotor diagnosis and provide appropriate psychomotor care. By the end of this course, students will be able to: • Differentiate between various concepts (difficulties, disorders, failures, etc.) • Define the different specific learning disorders • Base their therapeutic practice on evidence • Develop a targeted therapeutic project based on clinical practice recommendations • Establish simple links between learning disorders and psychomotor difficulties or disorders
