Social Media for Business

Social networks are taking a big chunk of our daily lives and have set new standards in the way people behave. Consumer behavior and the use of smartphones are intertwining in a new dimension, more visual and interactive than ever. Phones are no longer used to call someone, but to message, chat and check one’s different social media accounts. The last thing we do before going to sleep and the first thing we do when we wake up is to check our WhatsApp, Facebook and Instagram accounts to see what we have missed overnight. This revolutionary change has deeply impacted brands that can no longer ignore these new standards and that are coming up with new and sophisticated ways to communicate and interact with their customers. Today, every brand must have a GOOD online presence. During their learning experience, students will learn what are the best practices to use each of the main social networks. They will equally identify the different goals that dictate online advertising, with hands on examples of every objective and when to select it. Moreover, students will understand the importance of storytelling and how to create good content, because this is what differentiates one company from another on social media
