The School of Medical Lab Technicians (ETLAM) was founded in November 1946 by Prof. Marcel Advier and trained lab technicians until its temporary closure in 1976.

It resumed its activities in October 1995 within higher education.

In September 2003, it became affiliated with the Faculty of Pharmacy.
