This course aims to familiarise students with the process of producing an advertising film, from its creation by an advertising agency to its completion at a production house, including the storyboard, cinematic language, filming, location, artistic direction, costumes, and finally the post-production stage, which includes editing, special effects, and soundtrack. The course instructor suggests producers, and each student must create a concept for one of the producers and implement it after the course instructor and other students approve their idea. Learning objectives: The course prepares students to enter the world of professional advertising in Lebanon and the Middle East and gives them the opportunity to create and implement a concept. Thus, they play the role of both the agency's creative director and director. They can also benefit from other roles by participating in their classmates' projects: director of photography, art director, costume designer, assistant director, production manager, editor, sound designer, etc. This course is essential for students in the audiovisual field, as the advertising industry is very developed in Lebanon and the Middle East, where they will undoubtedly find many opportunities and career prospects.
