This course provides an understanding of the legal frameworks regulating the collection, processing, and storage of personal data in data science, with a focus on GDPR. The course covers various topics related to personal data protection including data privacy, risk management, and data security. The competencies acquired by students in this course will be used by them, as data scientists, during their academic journey and professional lives, in all tasks or activities related to personal data processing.
