Guided vs. Non-Guided Pediatric Zirconia Crown Preparation on deciduous molars: A Comparison of Time Efficiency and Tooth Structure Preservation - an in vitro study.

Description :

This study focuses on the clinical comparison between digitally guided and non-guided techniques for placing zirconia crowns in pediatric dentistry. The study utilizes Alphabyte V2.0 software, the 3Disc OVO scanner (3DISC, U.S./France), and Zirconia Kinder Krowns (St Louis Park, MN, USA), involving dental arch scanning, pulpotomy, and tooth preparation performed either manually or guided by digital technology. The primary objective is to evaluate differences in preparation time and conservativeness between the two methods, while secondary objectives include assessing the efficiency of the guided process, identifying intraoperative advantages of AI-assisted crown planning, and evaluating overall clinical and economic benefits.
