In vitro comparative study between self-assembling peptide-p11-4, casein phosphopeptide-amorphous calcium phosphate and fluoride varnish in intact and demineralized permanent enamel: the role of enamel microstructure on treatment efficacy.
Description :
This in vitro study aims to compare the remineralization efficacy of three agents vVardis®, MI Paste®, and Fluorodose® on intact and artificially demineralized permanent enamel in pediatric patients. By simulating oral conditions through pH cycling, the study evaluates how enamel microstructure influences treatment outcomes. Surface microhardness testing and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) will be used to assess mineral recovery and surface morphology. The findings are expected to provide valuable insights into the effectiveness of these agents, guiding evidence-based preventive and therapeutic strategies in pediatric dentistry.
