SCHOLARSHIPS, DISCOUNTS, AND FINANCIAL AID POLICY AT USJ:
- New scholarships or discounts, regardless of their source, are classified under one of the three categories.
- Academic Scholarships and other financial aid options are managed by the Vice-Rectorate for Administration
(VRA). - Need-based financial aid is managed by the Financial Aid Office.
- The Financial Aid Office must be informed of academic scholarship rates for the purpose of reviewing cumulative awards. Coordination between services is required.
- Incomplete scholarship applications (missing documents) are automatically rejected.
- A student may be granted only 1 academic scholarship, excluding the Honors Scholarship.
- Except for the Merit Scholarship and donations covering full tuition fees (as specified in the MoU or in accordance with the donor’s wishes), the total amount of academic scholarships, need-based financial aid, and other tuition reductions may not exceed 75% of the tuition fees.
- The administration reserves the right to revise or revoke scholarships, financial aid, and tuition reductions in
cases of disciplinary action, false statements, or fraud. - Scholarship percentages are calculated based on annual tuition fees. For first-year students in each academic
cycle, the deduction is applied to either the first or second installment of the first semester. - Scholarship renewal is subject to compliance with the applicable conditions.
