Associate Professor at the Lebanese Institute of Educators (ILE), Viviane El-Khoury Bou Sreih holds a PhD in Education Sciences from Saint Joseph University of Beirut in collaboration with the University of Montreal. Her doctoral thesis focused on The Attitudes of Lebanese Teachers Towards the School Inclusion of People with Mild Intellectual Disabilities.In connection with her teaching and research work, she has led several training projects to particularly promote inclusive education and the right of everyone to education. She has also given and continues to give particular importance to demystifying the concept of disability among increasingly wider audiences, in order to recognize and celebrate difference at its true value.She has likewise participated in organizing international conferences and scientific events, as well as in scientific meetings and debates with various partners in the fields of pedagogy, special education, and higher education in Lebanon and abroad. She has thus delivered several lectures and oral presentations in Lebanon and in various countries around the world at international conferences.She has also conducted and participated in special education expertise projects. Finally, she has publications and contributions in collective works and journals.
