I am Pascale Moubarak, a Special Educator, and I currently serve as the coordinator and head of the Special Education Department at the preschool level at Beirut Annunciation Orthodox College. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from the Lebanese University, as well as both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Special Education from Saint Joseph University. I have more than 22 years of experience in the field of special education. I began my career in 2004 at AFEL, and in 2008 I joined my current institution, where I have continued my professional commitment to this day. My professional path is rooted in an inclusive approach and in supporting preschool children with special educational needs. I develop pedagogical practices based on differentiation, creativity, and the adaptation of learning to individual needs. I also lead and train an educational team, supporting its members in the implementation of inclusive practices designed for all learners without exception, while promoting co-teaching within the cycle for which I am responsible. This collaborative dynamic is further strengthened by my coordination of all subject areas and my pedagogical support of the teachers within the cycle. In parallel, I have initiated and developed several educational projects in collaboration with organizations working with Iraqi refugees. I have also worked as a pedagogical consultant for early childhood institutions. I have designed innovative learning materials based on stories and songs, as well as educational resources for early childhood education, particularly for “Bébé Câlin” daycare center. I have also designed and developed “Include” project, now integrated into the “Université Pour Tous”. I am particularly interested in inclusive education approaches and neuroscience, which continuously enrich and inform my professional practice. My professional commitment is guided by the belief that every child can learn and progress in an inclusive and caring learning environment.
