La littérature scientifique est en évolution constante. Le futur professionnel (praticien ou chercheur) doit être capable d’appréhender de manière critique ce savoir, orienté ici sur les troubles psychomoteurs. Il est donc nécessaire tout à la fois d’en prendre connaissance, mais aussi d’en réaliser une lecture critique et de développer les outils conceptuels permettant de poursuivre cette démarche tout au long de l’exercice professionnel. Le développement de cet ensemble de compétences est le gage d’une autonomie ultérieure.
