Dr. Ziad Harb is a physician specialized in sports medicine. He has 10 years of experience in emergency medicine and more than 25 years in the private sector in sports medicine and traumatology, where he treats a wide range of sports-related conditions and medical issues encountered by athletes. For more than 25 years, he has also been involved in teaching, research, and publications within 5 major universities, particularly at USJ, and in medical schools and paramedical specialties. His areas of expertise cover, among others, sports traumatology and injuries, doping, sports physiology, as well as medical nutrition therapy and health prevention. He has supervised and directed hundreds of university theses and has numerous scientific publications. He was also an associate professor and chair of the nutrition department at USEK for 5 years. He has participated in numerous international seminars and conferences as a speaker. Member of: the French Society of Sports Medicine; the Lebanese Society of Sports Medicine. Former member and coordinator of the main committee in charge of the written and oral exams of the nutrition colloquium in Lebanon. He is also the founder and CEO of NUMED, a company dedicated to developing educational tools in the health sector, as well as anthropometric and metabolic assessment devices, and of the offshore company NFU.
