Born in Sin el Fil, a suburb of Beirut. With the war that broke out in 1975, he saw his whole world destroyed completely and for no reason. He found himself too soon facing the great existential questions of life and the meaning of all things. Following a school career with the 'Brothers of the Christian Schools,' shaken by the ordeals that were part of everyday life at the time, he entered ESIB, which presented itself as an 'obvious' continuation of his academic results. At the same time, he was involved in a movement in his parish as well as in the university pastoral ministry of his university. This was where he encountered Ignatian spirituality, and so he decided to change the direction of his life after a brief period of practicing his profession. In 1987, he found himself at the Novitiate of the Society of Jesus in Upper Egypt. He followed the classic path of formation. Very early on he became involved, on the one hand, in University Pastoral ministry and, on the other, in the mission of the Ignatian Exercises. Ordained a priest in 1997, he realized that his theological and philosophical formation was not enough to understand and analyze the problems he faced during spiritual accompaniment and confessions. He decided to follow the path of the students of the Lebanese School of Social Work. There he discovered the field of personal development, with the dimension of psycho-spiritual work. He was first introduced to it through personal reading and various sessions. The culmination of this path took place in Quebec with Fr. Jean Monbourquette, who is very renowned in this field. Back in Lebanon, he founded in 2012, in the Jesuit house in Bikfaya, the 'Center of Spiritual Arts,' which would be the first place in the Near East to give such sessions.
