Walid Ibrahim Mezher is a seasoned financial expert with over four decades of experience in treasury management and financial operations. He currently serves as the Director of the Financial Office at the Saint Joseph University of Beirut (USJ), a position he has held in since 1991. Additionally, he has been the Director of Treasury for the USJ Hospital Network since May 2022 and has served as Director of Treasury at Hôtel-Dieu de France (HDF) since 1995. Mezher’s association with USJ dates back to 1980, where he began his career and progressively took on key roles. His expertise has been sought in advisory capacities, including as Consultant to the Chairman of the Board of Directors at HDF. He has also held leadership positions in prominent organizations such as the Lebanese National Commission for UNESCO and the Higher Council of Greek Catholics. A graduate of the Saint Joseph University of Beirut, Walid Mezher holds a Bachelor in Business Administration and Management. His career reflects his commitment to excellence in financial stewardship and a deep engagement with cultural and community development initiatives.
