Tanios Bou Diwan is a computer and telecommunications engineer, graduated from Saint Joseph University of Beirut in 2025. He is now pursuing a research Master’s degree in telecommunications, networks, and security, a program jointly offered by USJ and the Lebanese University. He is currently undertaking a research internship focusing on the reliability of LoRaWAN networks and completed his final year project in collaboration with Javista, a consulting and IT integration firm. Tanios has supervised practical sessions in routing and switching as well as Linux systems, and contributed to the preparation of the UUE 2025 practical sessions, aimed at introducing high school students to the basics of machine learning. He is particularly interested in Internet of Things (IoT) technologies and methods aimed at improving the reliability and coverage of sensor networks. In parallel with his scientific activities, he has a strong interest in history, culture, and reading. He is also a writer for Campus-J, the student newspaper of Saint Joseph University of Beirut.
