PhD candidate - Cotutelle between Saint Joseph University of Beirut (USJ) and the Doctoral School of Mathematics of the University of Strasbourg. I graduated from ESIAM - USJ (École Supérieure d'Ingénieurs d'Agronomie Méditerranéenne) with an agricultural engineering degree. I also obtained a master’s degree in Geography, with a major in Environment and Urban planning which allowed me to enroll in a doctorate in the same department. In the framework of my doctoral research, I am working on the Role of vegetation and urban morphology on the distribution of temperature in the urban environment at the fine scale of Beirut. More than 2 years of academic experience teaching many different courses related to Agronomy, urban planning, and geography.

Presentation: - The effect of urban geometry on the microclimate in Furn el Hayeck: A combined remote sensing and modelling approach (XIII Research Day, USJ)- 1st prize winner in the 11th research day at the USJ – 2020** I have three articles that are currently under review for publication.article 1 : The influence of densification and verticalization on the distribution of air temperature. A comparative approach between 2010 and 2021 allowed us to understand the evolution of temperature in relation to buildings. article 2 : Is the cooling effect of the "Horch Beirut" park local or does it extend beyond its boundaries. article 3 : Which local climate zone (LCZ) most affects air temperature and thermal comfort?
