sami Richa is a psychiatrist, born in 1969, holding both Lebanese and French nationalities. He is a Corresponding Member of the French National Academy of Medicine, as well as a Professor and Head of the Psychiatry Department at the Faculty of Medicine, Saint Joseph University (USJ). Dr. Richa is the founder and former Head of the Psychiatry Department at Hôtel-Dieu de France. He holds a Doctorate and an Accreditation to Supervise Research (HDR) in Bioethics. He serves as the President of the Ethics Committee at Hôtel-Dieu de France and is a member of the Lebanese National Consultative Committee on Ethics.
