Riwa Baltagi is a Social Worker and Counselor with a Master’s degree in Counseling and a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Saint Joseph University of Beirut. She has extensive experience in psychosocial support, training, and community-based interventions, particularly with vulnerable and marginalized populations.
She has worked with several national and international organizations, including SIDC, Amel International, Himaya, IECD, and Saint Joseph University of Beirut, where she held roles in case management, project coordination, training, and research. Her areas of expertise include psychosocial support, sexual and reproductive health, SOGIESC, gender-based violence prevention, substance use awareness, peer education, and outreach programming.
Currently, she works as a Project Coordinator at SIDC, overseeing project implementation, reporting, and coordination with partners and multidisciplinary teams. She also has academic experience as a Research Assistant and co-author of a peer-reviewed publication. Riwa Baltagi is fluent in Arabic and French and proficient in English.
