Zhou Yingfen is an experienced Chinese language educator with extensive expertise in teaching Chinese to learners from diverse cultural backgrounds. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Chinese Language and Literature from Guangxi University and is certified as an International Chinese Language Teacher. Since 2017, she has been dedicated to promoting Chinese language learning among Lebanese students. She also provided Business Chinese training at Pepsi Company from 2017 to 2018. Since 2021, she has been teaching Chinese at the Confucius Institute at Saint Joseph University (CIUSJ), where she continues to share her knowledge of the Chinese language and culture with learners in Lebanon.

Zhou Yingfen has a deep passion for Chinese language and culture and takes pride in sharing the richness of China’s history, traditions, and values with learners around the world. She particularly enjoys introducing students to the long history of Chinese civilization and the traditional virtues valued in Chinese culture, including kindness, diligence, courage, and wisdom.

Her goal as a Chinese language teacher is to help students develop comprehensive language skills in speaking, reading, and writing, while also gaining a deeper understanding of Chinese culture. She believes that language learning is a bridge that connects people and cultures.

Having lived and worked in Lebanon for many years, Zhou considers Lebanon her second home. She appreciates the friendliness and hospitality of Lebanese people toward Chinese culture and hopes that more Lebanese learners will discover the Chinese language and have opportunities to study, work, or engage in business in China.

She greatly values the relationship she builds with her students, who she considers not only learners but also friends. Through these interactions, she has gained a deeper understanding of Lebanon and developed a broader perspective on the country and its people. She hopes for a peaceful and prosperous future for Lebanon.

Outside of her professional activities, Zhou Yingfen enjoys reading, traveling, music, singing, and discovering new cultures.

Her favorite Chinese proverb is : 有志者事竟成  "Where there is a will, there is a way."
