Dr. Jihane Rahbani Mounsef is an associate professor at the Faculty of Engineering Architecture at Saint Joseph University of Beirut (USJ). She obtained her PhD in process environmental engineering from the National Polytechnic Institute of Toulouse in 2015 is currently the director of the Chemical Petrochemical Engineering department at USJ.She has diverse research expertise, covering a wide range of fields, from biotechnology and renewable energies to nanotechnology and industrial processes. She has supervised numerous masters and doctoral theses, contributing to advancements in areas such as microalgae research and environmental sustainability. Additionally, she holds patents for antimicrobial coatings and plastics, demonstrating her innovation in the field of materials science.
