• Obtained his Lebanese Baccalaureate in 1975 (good-14th grade in the general ranking)• Began, in 1975, studies in Letters (at the School of Letters) and Political Science (at the USJ)• Interrupted his studies of Letters due to the closure of the School of Letters (due to the war)• Obtained from USJ a Bachelor's degree in political science (with honors, first in class), in 1977, then a Master's degree, in 1979• Began, in 1977, teaching French and history-geography in schools (l'Athénée de Beirut and Saint-Joseph de l'Apparition which lasted 6 years)• Passed the Foreign Affairs exam and was appointed diplomat 12 years later• Began studying philosophy at USJ in 1985 and obtained a bachelor's degree, a master's degree and a DEA in this discipline• Presented her resignation from Foreign Affairs to devote herself to her teaching of philosophy at the USJ where she was placed in 1993; Since then, she has been head of the Philosophy Department several times.• In 1996, she married the philosopher Jad Hatem
