Maroun Salhani is an independent copywriter, specialized in advertising and communication, as well as a content strategist (campaign and political-branding strategies). He provides in-depth socio-political analysis. He holds a bachelor's in Clinical Psychology and a master's in Geostrategy from USJ. In 2017, he also obtained a diploma in arts management from ESA. Maroun Salhani was editor-in-chief of the Culture and Art section (a concept he initiated in 2007) at Now Lebanon (for 7 years), and held the position of General Director of the Gibran Khalil Gibran National Committee and its museum (for 9 years). He wears several hats. His area of predilection remains cultural engineering and the enhancement of memory and heritage, with collaborations such as with the Phoenix Center of USEK and the Haigazian Center (notably on studies of the Armenian 'Spurk' or Spiurk). In addition, he has held influential roles, notably as Secretary General of the Fondation Liban Cinema, member of the Higher Committee for the Organization of the Centenary of Greater Lebanon in 2020 under the presidency of the Lebanese Republic, as well as official Adviser to the Minister of Information (outgoing cabinet between 2016 and 2018) and to Lebanese Public Television (Tele Liban). Since 2020, he has taught at Saint Joseph University and at ESA (Clemenceau), where he offers courses on soft power, nation branding, pop culture, and the links between geostrategy, cinema, and politics. He is currently a Consultant at the company SIREN ANALYTICS.
