Paul Chammas is an expert in technology-risk management and cybersecurity, with a specialization in issues related to quantum computing and post-quantum cryptography. Holder of a master's in telecommunications from Saint Joseph University of Beirut (USJ), then a telecommunications-engineering degree from EFREI Paris, he also holds a Master's in quantum computing from the Universidad Politecnica de Madrid (UPM). He is currently pursuing a doctoral thesis at the Higher School of Engineering of Beirut (ESIB), within USJ, focusing on the assessment and modeling of risks related to the implementation of post-quantum cryptography in legacy systems. With more than fifteen years of professional experience as a consultant, auditor, and trainer, he supports financial institutions, industrial companies, and public organizations on cybersecurity, risk governance, and the transition toward architectures resilient to the quantum threat. He also intervenes in advanced-training programs, notably within the Master's in Quantum Computing at EPITA, where he teaches risk management and quantum cybersecurity. He is co-founder and head of Quantum Risk Advisory (QuRISK), a firm specialized in technology-risk management, quantum cybersecurity, and support for post-quantum migration.
