Biomechanics is a discipline that studies mechanical processes within the body. Biomechanics involves a variety of disciplines including orthopedics, radiology, neurology, physical medicine, kinesitherapy, engineering, mathematics and statistics. The Laboratory of Biomechanics and Medical Imaging is a center for medical diagnosis and clinical research in osteoarticular diseases. This research laboratory affiliated to the Faculty of Medicine of the Saint-Joseph University is established within the Health Technology Pole at the Campus of Innovation and Sport in the heart of Beirut.
