Dr. Khalil Michel Nassar. Born February 5, 1974, in Beirut, Lebanon. Lebanese nationality. ACADEMIC TRAINING: 2016 - Professional doctorate in physiotherapy, Saint Joseph University (USJ), Beirut; 2006 - Master's in physical activity and competitive sport, USJ; 2002 - Certificate in Nutrition and Fitness, Thompson Education Direct, Scranton, USA; 2001 - University bachelor's, Lebanese University, Faculty of Public Health; 2000 - Interuniversity Diploma in sports physiotherapy, Rene Descartes Paris V University, France; 1996 - Bachelor's in Technical Teaching, Institute of Paramedical Sciences, Notre-Dame du Liban Hospital, Jounieh; 1995 - Higher Technician in Physiotherapy; 1991 - Lebanese Baccalaureate (Philosophy track), College de la Sagesse, Beirut. PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE: Since August 1998 - physiotherapy practice in Achrafieh, Beirut; physiotherapist of the men's national basketball team since 2003. SPORTS ENGAGEMENTS: participation in 3 basketball World Cups (2006, 2010, and 2023) as physiotherapist of the men's National Team; participation in 14 Asian basketball championships from 2003 to 2022 as physiotherapist of the men's National Team; since 2018 - member of the medical committee of the Lebanese Basketball Federation; physiotherapist of the JAMHOUR sports club since 1998; since 2017 - physiotherapist of the Beirut men's basketball team; 2015 - physiotherapist of the national team (28th FIBA-Asia) for the Olympic qualifiers; physiotherapist of various sports clubs, including CAEJ, Racing Hazmieh, Sadaka, and Hoch Sour. TEACHING: since 2016 - teacher at Saint Joseph University, Faculty of Innovation and Sport (courses in sports traumatology and rehabilitation); since 2014 - teacher at Antonine University, Faculty of Physical Education (course in sports traumatology). CONTINUING EDUCATION: regularly participates in conferences and trainings in physiotherapy, kinesio taping, manual therapy, and sports rehabilitation, in Lebanon and abroad (France, Egypt, etc.).
