Dr. Joelle A. Abou Sleiman, DPT is a highly experienced physiotherapist and academic professional with over 10 years of clinical expertise in musculoskeletal, orthopaedic, neurological, women’s health, and sports rehabilitation. A graduate of Saint Joseph University of Beirut, she holds both a bachelor’s degree in physical therapy and a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT). She combines strong clinical practice with leadership and teaching experience. She currently practices at Tohme Kharat Medical Center while contributing to academic teaching in physiotherapy at USJ. She is also the founder and former clinical director of La Clinique de Joelle, where she led patient care, clinic operations, and multidisciplinary rehabilitation services. Her professional interests include evidence-based rehabilitation, manual therapy, temporomandibular disorders (TMD), bruxism management, women’s pelvic health, and integration of artificial intelligence in physiotherapy education. She is recognized for her patient-centered approach, strong communication skills, and commitment to advancing physiotherapy practice through innovation, teaching, and research.
