Jean Sawma received the diploma the master degree in electrical engineering from the Ecole Supérieure d’Ingenieurs de Beyrouth (ESIB), Lebanon and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from Ecole Supérieure d’Ingénieurs de Beyrouth and University of Cergy-Pontoise, France in 2016. Jean Sawma is currently a full time assistant professor in the electrical department at ESIB since 2019. His current research interests include Model Predictive Control (MPC), the control of power electronics and electrical motors and FPGA SoC based embedded control.
