Dr. Jade Khalife is a researcher-practitioner with a background in medicine, epidemiology, and health policy and management. With 24 years of broad experience in the health sector, including 18 years specifically in health systems, he combines deep analytical expertise with strategic vision to strengthen health systems in complex and resource-limited settings across West Asia and North Africa.
His executive leadership skills are applied to leading complex, multi-year initiatives funded by institutions including the World Health Organization, the World Bank, Bloomberg Philanthropies, the Wellcome Trust, and other UN agencies. His deep, hands-on expertise spans the development of national hospital performance frameworks, the design and implementation of casemix methodology for financing, the formulation of national health system and hospital strategies, and the rigorous evaluation of both primary and tertiary care interventions.
Dr. Khalife effectively bridges research, policy and practice. He holds an MD, a PhD in Epidemiology, and advanced public health degrees, which he applies to translate evidence into impactful, equity-focused policies and programs. His work continues to be driven by a commitment to building resilient, efficient, and people-centered health systems.
