Dr. Elie F. El Chami, 52, was born in Beirut, Lebanon. He is married and the father of two children. After obtaining his high-school diploma in 1990, he pursued his studies at the Medical Academy of Latvia, where he obtained his medical degree in 1996. A member of the Order of Physicians of Lebanon since 1997, he obtained his Medical Controller diploma in 1998 from Saint Joseph University of Beirut. He also obtained a certification in international coding and quality management in 2004, likewise from Saint Joseph University. In 2008, he completed an Executive MBA at UQAM, Canada.
