After a long career in translation and teaching, I obtained my PhD in 2019. In fact, I followed both paths before I even obtained my Master degree. My career as a translator started when I was in my 4th year of translation studies, when I had a job at a local newspaper. Then, I worked as a translator at a local TV station, and ever since, as a freelancer for many local and international firms, banks, universities, NGOs, international organizations and the UN. My teaching career started also at my 4th year of studies, when USJ gave me the opportunity to teach languages at different faculties, and translation courses at ETIB. At the same time, I learned new languages, such as Spanish and German, and participated in many continuous training sessions, as a trainee and as a trainer.I believe in continuous training and learning as the best means to achieve personal development and contribute to the development of the community.
